Question regarding the ReliefBand Motion Sickness Device, Disposable Voyager Model..
Q: "Dear safehomeproducts, Are these the new models (of Reliefbands) or the old ones? "
Answer: There is a prescription only motion sickness stimulation device with a 150 hour use time, batteries cannot be replaced.
Neurowave recently (November 2013) introduced the new Voyager, which gives up to 120 hours of use time for under $130. (The Rx unit currently sells for $250 for 150 hours maximum use time). We received our first product just this week (December 5, 2013). We are excited to offer this product. Our experience from approximately 2000 through 2008 was extremely positive. The Voyager has the same twin clam shell electrodes as the earlier Explorer model. Again there are 5 levels of stimulation. Wear this FDA cleared, no-drug, safe product to prevent or to relieve nausea and vomitting from motion sickness on either or both wrists. Once activated, relief is usually obtained within 15 minutes or less. Although customers tell us they use Reliefbands on younger children, FDA testing was not done on children under the age of 12. Note: electrodes contain nickel and the bracelet band contains latex.
No one wants to be without this wonderful device when they are on a cruise, spending the day at an amusement park or riding in an airplane or car. We also sell conductive gel.
Thank you for your question.
Sincerely,
Barbara
